How we handle your information

What we collect on rundigital.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated September 2026

This policy explains what Run LLC, doing business as Run Digital and RunLeadGen, collects when you use rundigital.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers our website. If you are a client, the agreement you signed with us governs the data we handle inside your marketing accounts, and it takes precedence where the two differ.

The short version

  • We collect what you type into our forms, and we collect analytics and advertising data automatically while you browse.
  • We run a number of third party tools that see your activity on this site, including session recording and business identification. Section 4 names every one of them.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money.
  • We do not currently show a cookie consent banner, so these tools start when the page loads. Section 6 explains how to turn them off.
  • You can ask us what we hold on you, and ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected].

1. What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in a form, book a call, start a checkout, subscribe to something, or contact us, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form that is typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, and whatever you write in a free text field.

If you buy from us, our payment processor collects your card details directly. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, and the last four digits. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Information we collect automatically

While you browse, the tools listed in section 4 collect some or all of the following:

  • IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser, operating system and device type
  • Pages you visit, how long you stay, what you click, how far you scroll, and where you arrived from
  • A recording of your mouse movement, clicks and scrolling on the page, captured by Microsoft Clarity
  • The company your network appears to belong to, identified by Apollo, where you are browsing from a business connection
  • The phone number you dial and the number shown to you, if you call a tracked number
  • Identifiers stored in cookies that let advertising platforms recognise your browser later

2. How we use it

  • To answer you, send what you asked for, and run a sales conversation
  • To deliver and support the services a client has bought
  • To take payment and keep accounting records
  • To understand which pages and campaigns work, and to improve the site
  • To show ads to people who have visited, and to measure whether those ads worked
  • To send marketing email and text messages where you have opted in
  • To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations

We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

If you are in the United States, we rely on your interaction with us and on our legitimate interest in running and marketing the business. If you are in the EEA or the UK, we rely on your consent for marketing and non essential cookies, on the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you, on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep records.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do pass it to the providers below, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers of their own advertising and measurement data. This list is accurate as of the date at the top of this page.

We also disclose information where we are legally required to, and to our professional advisers. If the business is ever sold or merged, records would transfer to the buyer.

5. Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. California law defines selling and sharing more broadly than that, and it treats the use of advertising cookies to build cross context behavioural profiles as sharing. On that broader definition, our use of Google, Meta and LinkedIn advertising tags does amount to sharing. Section 7 explains how to opt out.

6. Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use them to keep the site working, to measure how it is used, and to support advertising.

Being straight with you about consent. This site does not currently display a cookie banner, which means the analytics, advertising and session recording tools described above begin working when the page loads rather than waiting for you to agree. We are working on changing that. Until we do, the controls below are the way to stop them.

How to turn them off

  • Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies for this site, including third party cookies.
  • Google Analytics can be disabled everywhere with the Google Analytics opt out add on.
  • Google ad personalisation is controlled at My Ad Center, and Meta and LinkedIn each have ad settings inside your account.
  • Microsoft Clarity recording can be stopped at Microsoft privacy settings or by blocking clarity.ms in your browser.
  • Browser level signals give the broadest coverage. See Global Privacy Control below.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers can send a Do Not Track header. There is no agreed standard for what a site should do in response, and like most sites we do not change our behaviour when we receive one. Global Privacy Control is the newer signal and it carries legal weight in California and several other states. We honour it as an opt out of sale and sharing where the law requires us to.

7. Your choices and rights

Anyone

Whoever and wherever you are, you can email [email protected] and ask what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will not charge you and we will not treat you differently for asking. We aim to reply within thirty days, and we may need to verify who you are before we act.

If you are in California

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to. You may request deletion or correction, and you may opt out of sale and sharing. You may use an authorised agent. Exercising these rights will never result in worse service or different pricing.

If you are in the EEA or the UK

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. You may complain to your national data protection authority, or to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK. Our providers are largely United States based, so your information will be transferred there, and those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism in each provider's terms.

8. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and marketing contacts stay in our CRM until you ask us to remove them, or until three years of no contact, whichever comes first.
  • Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and for seven years afterwards, which is what our accounting and tax obligations require.
  • Analytics data follows each provider's own retention period. Google Analytics is set to fourteen months. Microsoft Clarity recordings expire after thirty days.
  • Call recordings and logs are kept for twelve months.

9. How we protect it

The site runs over HTTPS on every page. Access to our CRM and advertising accounts is limited to people who need it and is protected by individual logins. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it.

10. Email and text messages

We send marketing email only to people who asked for it or who are existing clients. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and we act on unsubscribes promptly. You can also email [email protected] to come off the list.

Where you have given a mobile number and agreed to texts, we may send text messages about your enquiry or engagement. Reply STOP to any message to end them. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing.

11. Children

Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Our site links to other websites, and our clients' sites and our own funnels may behave differently from this one. Once you follow a link you are covered by that site's policy rather than this one. We do not control what they collect.

13. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information we will say so on the site and, where we can, tell you directly.
